The Sultanate of Oman has participated in the GasTech 2026 conference and exhibition taking place from September 14 to 17, 2026, in Bangkok, Thailand. The aim of this participation is to support transformation in the energy sector, reduce emissions, and achieve the Oman Vision 2040 goals.

Developing Strategic Partnerships

Oman's participation in this conference seeks to enhance coherence across various sectors of the energy system, opening broader horizons for partnerships and strategic investments with international partners. As part of this partnership, Engineer Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, attended a ministerial session at the conference's opening ceremony. This session focused on developments in the global energy landscape under the theme "Energy Reconfiguration: Who Holds Power in the New Global Order?".

Oman Pavilion and Energy Achievements

At this conference, Omani companies TAQA, OQ Exploration and Production, Integrated Gas Company, OQ Gas Networks, and Oman LNG are part of the Omani delegation. These companies have organized the Sultanate of Oman's pavilion titled "Energy from Oman," focusing on Oman's integrated, reliable, and competitive energy system. The Oman pavilion will showcase the capabilities and role of this sector in supporting energy security and industrial growth while keeping pace with rapid developments in the global energy sector.

At this exhibition, the Sultanate of Oman will present the development of its energy system and its achievements in efficiency, reliability, and sustainability through a pavilion showcasing projects, solutions, and operational capabilities. This exhibition will also contribute to empowering the economy and increasing local value.

The Sultanate of Oman's pavilion serves as a platform for direct interaction with international partners, exploring new opportunities for partnerships and investments, and strengthening relationships with existing and potential customers. This activity helps solidify Oman's position in the energy sector and supports the advancement of this sector towards a more sustainable future.

Oman's participation in GasTech 2026 reflects the level of coherence among the various components of the energy sector and the Sultanate's ability to integrate national expertise and capabilities to provide a unified system that meets market needs and aligns with global developments in this sector.
