Rashid Khan, the star leg-spinner of the Afghanistan national cricket team, has been recognized as the first player in the history of this sport to reach 200 wickets in Men's T20I matches. Achieving the 200 Wicket Milestone

In this match, Azmatullah Omarzai helped the Afghanistan team recover from a disappointing start with a stunning century. He scored 116 runs off 50 balls, including five fours and 12 sixes. Ijaz Ahmad Ahmadzai also contributed to the team with 52 runs off 27 balls, forming a partnership of 142 runs for the sixth wicket with Omarzai. Together, these two players led Afghanistan to a significant total of 221 runs in 20 overs.

The Zimbabwean team struggled to defend well in this match, with Brad Evans and Tendai Chatara each taking two wickets. Additionally, Vincent Masakza, Ernest Masuku, and Sikandar Raza each took one wicket for Zimbabwe.
