The Al Manar team, with the brilliance of Faisal Al Zubair and Dennis Marschall, achieved tenth place in the Monza GT Open 500 held at one of the fastest tracks in the world. This race, held in Italy, was a significant challenge for the two drivers who faced a lack of high speed on the track.

Team Performance in the Race

The Al Manar team, with the Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO, moved from twelfth place in the qualifying round to tenth place at the end of the race. Faisal Al Zubair stated: "We entered this competition knowing we were facing a performance balance (BoP) issue. At the start of the race, we gained a few positions, but as we lost high speed, we couldn't take advantage of those positions further. I hope we can be more competitive in future races."

Race Details and Challenges

The Al Manar team drove in a race consisting of 87 laps on a 5.793-kilometer track. Al Zubair was on the track from the beginning and handed over the lead to Marschall after the first lap. Marschall was able to bring the car to the finish line, securing tenth place for the team. In this race, victory went to the Scuderia Villorba Corse team with drivers Leonardo Monchieri and Rodrigo Testa, while the McLaren Griston GT driven by Zach Mikin and Dean McDonald finished in second place.

The Al Manar team also took advantage of private testing on Thursday and participated in two free practice sessions on Friday before the competition. In these sessions, the two Mercedes cars of the MotoPark team performed faster than their competitors. Ultimately, the Al Manar team qualified in twelfth place with a time of 1 minute and 46.350 seconds.

As some competitions in the Gulf region were modified or canceled, this year's program for the Al Manar team has come to an end. The team has announced that it will soon unveil its exciting plans for the 2027 season.
