Sultan Haitham bin Tariq left Luanda today, concluding his two-day trip to the Republic of Angola. This visit aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation and expand new horizons in various fields.
Delighted by the Warm Welcome from Angolans
Before leaving Angola, Sultan Haitham met with the young President Manuel Lourenço at the presidential palace's ceremonial square. During the ceremony, the Royal Anthem of Oman and the National Anthem of Angola were played. Sultan Haitham then inspected the ceremonial guard and ultimately shook hands with Angolan officials.

Appreciation for Angola's Hospitality
At the end of this trip, Sultan Haitham sent a message of thanks and appreciation to the President of Angola. In this message, he praised the warm welcome and exceptional hospitality of the Angolans towards his entourage and emphasized the positive outcomes of this trip in strengthening partnership and cooperation between the two countries.
This trip reflects the strong will of both countries to cooperate in economic, cultural, and social fields. Given the historical ties between Oman and Angola, this meeting provided an opportunity to expand cooperation and improve bilateral relations.
Sultan Haitham explored new ways for cooperation between the two countries during this trip and emphasized the importance of these collaborations for sustainable development. He also examined investment and trade opportunities between Oman and Angola and stressed the necessity of strengthening the economic relations of the two countries.
