The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority of Oman (Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority) held a senior management review meeting regarding the quality management system (ISO) at the General Directorate of Ambulance. This meeting was chaired by Brigadier General Suleiman Ali Al-Husseini, the head of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority, and attended by officials responsible for implementing this system within the organization.

Review of Quality Management System Performance

During this meeting, topics were discussed aimed at increasing the efficiency of the quality management system and enhancing performance levels, which ultimately contribute to improving the quality of ambulance services and achieving higher levels of efficiency and sustainability in delivering these services. Additionally, the results of the internal audit of the quality management system, opportunities for improvement, adequacy of resources, results of stakeholder satisfaction measurements, operational performance effectiveness and its measurement indicators, as well as risks, opportunities, challenges, and variables that may affect the effectiveness of the system were reviewed.

Efforts for Continuous Improvement and Readiness for External Inspection

The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority of Oman continues its efforts to enhance the quality and efficiency of ambulance services through the implementation of the ISO 9001 quality management system. The organization emphasizes strengthening the approach of continuous improvement and increasing institutional performance efficiency. The aforementioned meeting was held in preparation for the upcoming external inspection phase and to continue the organization's efforts in implementing the requirements of the quality management system, which will ultimately contribute to increasing institutional readiness and strengthening the culture of quality and continuous improvement within the framework of ambulance services.
