The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council strongly condemned the recent drone attack by Ansar Allah in the Taif region of Saudi Arabia and urged all parties to stop such attacks.
Condemnation of Ansar Allah's Drone Attacks
In a recently released statement, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Al-Budaiwi, emphasized that the continuation of such attacks not only endangers civilian lives but also constitutes a clear violation of international laws and treaties. He added: "These recurring actions necessitate a firm and responsible stance against the Houthis and holding the perpetrators accountable to ensure the safety of civilians and prevent threats to regional stability."

Solidarity with Saudi Arabia
Al-Budaiwi also reiterated the steadfast positions and full solidarity of the Gulf Cooperation Council with Saudi Arabia. He announced that all member countries of this council will support any actions taken by Saudi Arabia to maintain its security and sovereignty. These remarks came in the wake of the recent Ansar Allah attack on Saudi Arabia and in response to the critical situation faced by civilians in targeted areas.
Following this attack, the Saudi Relief and Rescue Organization also announced that as a result of intercepting and destroying a drone and the falling debris in the Taif region, one person was killed and two others were injured. This situation highlights the severity and depth of the security crisis in the region and underscores the need for urgent and effective actions.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, referring to the consequences of these attacks, emphasized the necessity of establishing security and stability in the region and added that the international community must seriously respond to these threats. He ultimately called for the protection of civilians and the prevention of the recurrence of such incidents.
