Abdullah Al-Rawahi, an Omani rally driver, achieved the championship in the fifth stage of the National Rally of Jordan. This success came as Al-Rawahi competed with his Jordanian co-driver, Atta Al-Hamoud, in a Skoda Fabia R5.
Al-Rawahi's Outstanding Performance in the Rally
In this competition, Al-Rawahi led all six stages with a significant margin over other competitors, ultimately placing at the top of the table, with local driver Shakir Jweihan in second place and his fellow Jordanian Badr Al-Faiz in third. This victory showcased Al-Rawahi's dominance over the tough conditions and challenges of this rally.

This competition took place in the Dead Sea area, where extremely high temperatures and difficult terrains made the competition highly challenging for participants. Despite these tough conditions, Al-Rawahi displayed a strong and consistent performance.
Goals and Future Plans
After the rally, Al-Rawahi referred to the challenges present in this stage. He stated, "This stage was difficult for all competitors, especially due to the high temperatures and the length of the rally." He also mentioned that his main goal was to improve the car's performance and test it in similar stages that are also held in the International Rally of Jordan.
Al-Rawahi also sincerely thanked his supporters who have backed him throughout all stages, adding, "I thank God that we succeeded in achieving this victory today — our second consecutive win. We are now planning for future events and hope to participate in the International Rally of Cyprus next month."
