ABRAJ Energy Services, a leading energy services provider in Oman, continued to strengthen its In-Country Value (ICV) in the first half of 2026. This performance was achieved due to increased costs in local supply and service contracts, ongoing investment in enhancing the skills of the Omani workforce, and targeted support for localizing specialized production in the energy sector.

Development of Local Supply and Supply Chain

In the first half of 2026, ABRAJ allocated 70% of its total supply costs to the local market, amounting to 26.5 million Omani Rials out of a total of 37.7 million Omani Rials. Additionally, small and medium-sized businesses, local service providers, and holders of the Riyada card accounted for 30% of total costs, reaching approximately 11.5 million Omani Rials. In this context, local suppliers constituted 40% of total costs, valued at 15.1 million Omani Rials.

Costs for sourcing products manufactured in the Sultanate of Oman reached 11% of total costs, equivalent to 4.1 million Omani Rials, emphasizing ABRAJ's strategic focus on prioritizing national products and strengthening collaboration with local suppliers.

Localization of Specialized Industrial Solutions

ABRAJ also advanced key initiatives to localize the production of specialized materials essential for well stimulation and hydraulic fracturing, particularly fracture proppants, to enhance domestic industrial capabilities. These efforts increase supply chain security, reduce reliance on imports, and integrate Omani manufacturers into the upstream energy value chain, significantly strengthening the domestic economic impact.

Saeed Al-Hamami, CEO of ABRAJ Energy Services, stated, "On the occasion of our twentieth anniversary, In-Country Value remains one of the fundamental pillars of our strategy to deliver sustainable economic returns for the Sultanate of Oman. Our ongoing investment in Omani professionals, our partnerships with local companies and entrepreneurs, and our commitment to local production form a tangible roadmap for industrial resilience."

ABRAJ Energy Services will continue to lead high-impact ICV initiatives, enhancing business competitiveness and creating a sustainable and integrated energy sector that strengthens Oman's leadership in the region.
