The Afghan Defense Minister, Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, recently held separate meetings with senior security officials from Qatar and Turkey in Kabul. These meetings were aimed at discussing bilateral relations, security cooperation, and regional stability.

Meeting with Qatari Officials

In this meeting, Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid met with Hamad bin Khamis Al-Kaabi, Deputy Chairman of Qatar's National Security Council. In this session, both sides discussed ways to strengthen relations and cooperation between Afghanistan and Qatar. Mujahid and Al-Kaabi emphasized their mutual commitment to expanding bilateral relations and highlighted the importance of security cooperation in facing regional challenges.

Discussion with Turkish Officials

The Afghan Defense Minister also separately met with Ibrahim Kalin, President of Turkey's National Intelligence Organization. The main focus of these discussions was on the relations between Afghanistan and Turkey and security cooperation. Both sides exchanged views on regional developments and emphasized the need for continued coordination.
