Meeting of Senior Military Officials
Senior military officials from the United States, Israel, and seven Arab countries gathered last week in Germany to discuss the ongoing war with Iran and the escalating security situation in the Middle East. This meeting was hosted by the United States Central Command, Admiral Brad Cooper, and none of the participating governments announced it.

Historic Meeting on Military Cooperation
This meeting is the first of its kind since the United States and Israel entered a state of war with Iran over the past six months. High-ranking military figures from Israel and the countries of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, and Egypt were present. This diplomatic and military synergy is significant as several participating Arab countries have no official diplomatic relations with Israel.
Emphasis on Security and Military Cooperation
The United States Central Command confirmed that this meeting was held to strengthen security cooperation across the Middle East. Admiral Brad Cooper assured officials during the meeting that U.S. military forces have no plans to withdraw from the region, despite ongoing Iranian attacks on American bases.
Additionally, he provided representatives at the meeting with information about Washington's strategies to increase maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz. The Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, General Eyal Zamir, also presented a comprehensive report on Israel's ongoing military operations on various fronts.
Military cooperation between Israel and Arab countries has continuously expanded since the signing of the Abraham Accords in 2020, particularly in the fields of air and missile defense. Throughout the war, Israel has closely collaborated with the United Arab Emirates and the United States in defensive and offensive operations. According to information provided by Israeli officials, Israel has also deployed its Iron Dome system in the UAE and provides critical intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance.
This dialogue takes place amid intensified Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia and expanded control over territories around the Bab al-Mandab Strait. Information obtained indicates that Israel and Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with the United States Central Command, are in discussions to provide military assistance to Saudi Arabia in military operations against the Houthis, which includes intelligence and surveillance support.
