The Oman Cyber Industry Exhibition, as part of the activities of the seventh Cyber Conference, was inaugurated under the patronage of Engineer Said Hamoud Al-Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology. This exhibition showcases innovative products, services, and solutions from national startups, enhancing their competitive capabilities and enabling them to access local, regional, and international markets.

Presence of Startups and National Case Studies

In this exhibition, 6 national startups and 4 case studies from the Hadatha centers have been displayed, developed by Omani talents. These efforts reflect the endeavors of Omani youth in developing specialized national cyber products and solutions and contribute to leveraging the innovation environment and supporting the program. This exhibition also aids in the development of national projects and their advancement to higher stages and maturity, strengthening their presence in the cyber market.

Emphasis on National and International Collaborations

Engineer Badr Ali Al-Suhaili, Director General of the National Cyber Emergency Readiness Team (OCERT), explained that the inauguration of the Hadatha exhibition symbolizes the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors and demonstrates efforts to develop the cyber sector, promote innovation, empower national companies, and open new horizons for collaboration and investment in this promising industry.

He also added that this exhibition is a significant milestone in the development of the cyber industry in the Sultanate of Oman and represents a direction towards establishing a promising national sector whose role is not limited to protecting the digital space but also acts as a catalyst for economic growth, an engine for innovation, and a source for creating job opportunities and attracting investment.

The Director General of the National Cyber Emergency Readiness Team at the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology noted that the Hadatha program aligns with the goals of Oman Vision 2040 as one of the executive programs of the national digital economy program. This program seeks to create a new phase in the path of this sector and transforms the cyber perspective from a necessity for protecting digital assets to a specialized national industry based on human capital, innovation, creativity, and excellence.
