Qatar, as the future host of the Asian Games 2030, has announced that if this event is moved to 2031 due to calendar changes, it is fully prepared. Ahmed Abdullah Al-Bouain, the executive director of the Doha Asian Games organizing committee, said: "We are working closely with the Olympic Council of Asia, and the year 2030 is important to us. However, if changes need to be made, we must ensure that everything is ready."

Challenges of organizing the Asian Games in Japan

The Asian Games are currently being held in Aichi-Nagoya, and this event has faced challenges regarding the accommodation and transportation of athletes. More than 17,000 athletes and officials are participating in this event, which is more than the number of participants in the Olympics. Some teams have complained about the lack of accommodation. Al-Bouain responded to these challenges by saying: "It is still early to discuss the number of people, but currently, there are no restrictions."

Qatar's readiness to host

Qatar has hosted many major sporting events over the past two decades and is also known for hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup for men. The country was also the host of the Asian Games in 2006 and currently has all the necessary infrastructure to hold this event. Al-Bouain emphasized: "Qatar is ready. Whenever it comes to Qatar, Qatar is ready."

A historic change in the scheduling of the Asian Games could help increase coordination between sporting events and the Olympics. The Olympic Council of Asia intends to design future games in such a way that they serve as qualifying and preparatory stages for the Olympics. This approach could benefit countries and athletes and provide more opportunities to participate in international competitions.

As Qatar seeks to successfully host this event, it seems that any changes to the dates of the games will be carried out in close cooperation with the Olympic Council of Asia and the International Olympic Committee. Al-Bouain said in this regard: "We need to work closely in the coming days to ensure that everyone is satisfied with the date, duration, and location of the event."
