Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity is promoting technology, artificial intelligence, and engineering at the Oman Science Festival 2026, held in Muscat, in collaboration with the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences.

Robotics and STEM Workshops

The pavilion of this center, part of the Kuwait Foundation exhibition, allows visitors, especially young students, to build modular robots that perform various functions. This hands-on activity aims to develop engineering thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Education in Science and Technology

This pavilion also hosts the STEM competition workshop, which is part of a global educational program endorsed by Formula 1, focusing on teaching science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through the design, construction, and racing of miniature cars. Visitors learn the principles of aerodynamics by collecting paper cars and testing them in a wind tunnel.

The Oman Science Festival is recognized as an important platform for promoting science and technology among youth, aiming to inspire and cultivate interest in sciences in future generations. This event is particularly held to enhance scientific and technical skills in students and young people, helping them become familiar with the world of technology and science.

On the other hand, the holding of robotics and STEM workshops at this festival demonstrates the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center's commitment to enhancing the scientific and technological level in the community and contributes to creating an interactive space for learning and new experiences. This event not only aids in the personal development of students but can also act as a catalyst for innovation and creativity at the national level.
