Extensive Operations by the Yemeni Army
In Yemen, the armed forces announced on Friday that in recent hours, they had conducted over 1,087 operations against Houthi positions and movements. These operations are part of the "Yemen Dawn Operation," which, according to military spokesperson Colonel Majid Al-Nazaili, has led to the "destruction" of approximately 336 Houthi commanders and fighters.
Colonel Al-Nazaili stated that in these operations, 112 vehicles, equipment, supply units, and heavy weapons have also been destroyed or rendered unusable. He noted that these attacks utilized fighter jets, drones, field artillery, and rocket launchers, targeting Houthi command and control centers, gatherings, reinforcements, fire positions, fortifications, supply lines, and heavy weapons.
Continuation of Operations on Various Fronts
Colonel Al-Nazaili also emphasized that the army and popular resistance are conducting attacks and counterattacks on key positions in Taiz province, while fighter jets are also targeting Houthi gatherings and reinforcements. Operations on the fronts of Al-Jawf, Marib, and Al-Bayda have also been combined with targeted fire, helping to neutralize infiltration efforts and limit the movements of Houthi reinforcements.
He added that the armed forces will continue to increase their operations against the Houthi militias while taking necessary measures to protect civilians and civilian facilities.
