Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran's Foreign Minister, announced his country's official conditions for an agreement with the United States in an interview with the media. He referred to the United States' efforts to open a dialogue and assessed this action as a positive step. However, he explicitly stated that there are currently no plans for a meeting with American officials and that what is being discussed in this regard is merely media speculation.

Sanctions and Iran's Conditions

Araghchi emphasized, "Our conditions are clear, and the mediators are continuing their consultations regarding them." He mentioned the mediation efforts of Qatar and Pakistan and added that an Iranian delegation has gone to Doha, and his assistant is in Qatar to continue the consultations. The Iranian Foreign Minister also noted that the mediators have proposed suggestions regarding nuclear issues that are currently under review.

Araghchi referred to other conditions of Iran, including the lifting of sanctions imposed after the Islamabad agreement and the reduction of American forces in the region. He also called for the restoration of oil exemptions and the release of all frozen assets of his country, including assets in Qatar. He listed the recognition of a new shipping route established with Oman in the Strait of Hormuz and the request for a ceasefire on all fronts as other conditions of Iran.

Readiness for All Scenarios

Araghchi further emphasized that he does not rule out any possibility of war and that Iran is prepared for all scenarios. He stated, "We have modernized our weapons, and our forces are at their highest level of readiness." The Iranian Foreign Minister also referred to his country's commitment to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and noted that Iran's nuclear facilities, which were under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency, have been targeted.

In another part of this interview, Araghchi referred to the existing economic pressures and said, "We will not surrender and will not give up our dignity and honor." He emphasized Iran's determination to continue resisting and to overcome this difficult phase, reminding that there is still a long way to go before returning to normal cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
