The Spanish national football team managed to maintain a 100 percent start in the UEFA Nations League with a 3-1 victory over the Czech Republic in Oviedo. This match took place on Saturday night, and Spain capitalized on its opportunities to remain at the top of the table.

Changes in Spain's lineup

Spain's head coach, Luis de la Fuente, made nine major changes to the lineup that had previously won 4-1 against Croatia. Ivan Fresneda and Roberto Fernandez made their debuts, and Fran Garcia, Robin Lormand, and Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya also returned to the team.

Despite the changes in the lineup, Spain faced a challenge for only a few minutes. Lamine Yamal scored the first goal with a beautiful shot into the corner of the Czech Republic's goal in the fifth minute. After this goal, Spain maintained possession and controlled the game well.

Effective player presence and final result

Subsequently, a quick move by the Spaniards almost led to Rodrigo Hernandez scoring the second goal, but Czech goalkeeper Antonin Kinski made a timely save to prevent it. However, three minutes later, the ball reached Rodrigo, and he was able to score the second goal.

Before the end of the first half, Yamal attempted to score another goal, but despite Spain's dominance in the game, de la Fuente decided to substitute Yamal and Alex Baena, bringing Victor Munoz and Yeremi Pino onto the field.

The changes in the lineup caused Spain to lose some control in midfield. However, in the 85th minute, Ladislav Krejci was sent off for a serious foul. In the final minute, Mikel Merino scored the third goal, securing Spain's final victory.

This victory kept Spain at the top of the UEFA Nations League table and allowed them to remain one of the main contenders in the competition.
