Presence of Experts from Arab Countries
This conference is attended by a group of experts and specialists in family and community affairs from seven Arab countries, as well as representatives from government institutions and civil society organizations. Sayyid Mani Abdullah Al-Busaidi, Director General of Family Development at the Ministry of Social Development, emphasized in his opening speech the ministry's commitment to the family as the primary institution in shaping human character and the most important cradle for institutionalizing values and enhancing identity.
He explained that the success of the digital nurturing ecosystem can only be achieved through integrated collaborations where responsibilities are shared among government institutions, civil society organizations, and the private sector. This approach leads to the integration of roles and synergy of efforts towards a common goal, which is to build a generation with digital competence, moral awareness, and national belonging.
Sayyid Mani also emphasized that today's responsibility is not limited to preparing a generation with technological skills, but attention must also be given to building generations that have the awareness necessary to use technology for the benefit of the country and to preserve its identity.
The Role of Family in Social Stability
On the other hand, Professor Dir' Majib Al-Dosari, President of the International Federation for Education and Development, stated in his speech that the true success of a family is not only measured by the absence of conflicts but also by its ability to manage differences with awareness, wisdom, and emotional intelligence. He noted that the higher the level of emotional awareness among family members, the greater their ability to achieve understanding, tolerance, and face challenges.
Professor Al-Dosari emphasized that investing in family stability is indeed an investment in community security and the future of generations. A cohesive society cannot be built without aware families, and a successful generation will not be prepared without a safe and stimulating family environment. He also referred to the efforts of the Sultanate of Oman in paying attention to family values and strengthening social cohesion, believing that the integrity of the family is the real beginning of the integrity of society.
