This program was held in collaboration with King's College London and was designed to strengthen the capabilities of public sector leaders to translate national priorities into effective policies and measurable outcomes.

Attention to Artificial Intelligence in Government Decision-Making
Dr. Ali Qasim Al-Lawati, President of the Royal Academy of Management, emphasized that RAM's collaboration with King's College London allowed participants to access international expertise in the public policy cycle. He added that the program's focus on artificial intelligence and its role in government decision-making is increasingly important and helps enhance the quality and effectiveness of public policies.
This program particularly emphasized directors general and heads of departments, as they play a vital role in bridging macro strategies and daily implementation. Dr. Al-Lawati stated, "These leaders are at the point where strategy is turned into action, and their ability to analyze policy challenges can determine whether a policy achieves its intended outcomes or not."
In this program, Dr. Ahmed Al-Lawati, the program supervisor, referred to the learning structure that included the complete policy cycle, from diagnosis and policy design to implementation and evaluation. The program included specialized learning modules, case studies, and practical workshops that allowed participants to apply policy concepts to the real challenges of their professional environments.
The completion of the public policy design and implementation program is another step in the Royal Academy of Management's efforts to develop national leadership capabilities through learning experiences that combine scientific rigor and practical application. By strengthening the design, implementation, and measurement of evidence-based policies, the Royal Academy of Management continues to support an agile and innovative public sector capable of translating the aspirations of Oman 2040 into meaningful outcomes that create significant value for Oman and its community.
