The Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran will review and approve a set of important bills and proposals on Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week. These public sessions provide an opportunity to strengthen domestic laws and international cooperation, which can help improve the country's economic and social conditions.

Review of the Bill to Counter Foreign Influence

One of the main agenda items is the continued review of the bill to counter foreign influence. This bill is designed to address the infiltration of foreign intelligence services and entities in the country, aiming to preserve national security and independence. Given the importance of this issue, members of parliament will carefully examine the details and various aspects of this bill.

International Cooperation in Transportation

Additionally, a bill regarding the cooperation agreement in maritime transportation between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman will be discussed. This bill could strengthen trade and economic relations between the two countries and lead to increased exchange of goods and services in the region.

Moreover, a bilateral agreement on mutual administrative assistance in customs matters between Iran and Indonesia is also on the agenda. This agreement will facilitate customs processes and reduce trade barriers.

Other Important Bills and Proposals

Alongside these items, the parliament will review a bill to amend the law on the use of weapons by armed forces personnel in emergencies and a proposal to support gatherings and marches according to Article 27 of the Constitution. Additionally, the bill on managing public debts and the proposal to amend certain provisions of the Engineering System and Building Control Law will also be discussed in these sessions.

Other topics under discussion include the amendment of Article 37 of the Social Security Law and the accession of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Marrakech Treaty to facilitate access for blind and visually impaired individuals to published works. These actions reflect the government's commitment to improving the living conditions of people with disabilities.

The parliament will also review the bill to ratify the treaty of the International Maritime Navigation Aids Organization and the ratification of the Minimum Age Convention of 1973 (1352). These agreements will contribute to enhancing maritime security and international law.

Finally, questions from representatives to the Minister of Education and a report from the Urban Development Commission regarding the assessment of the performance of responsible agencies concerning land border and transit crossings will also be on the agenda. These discussions will help streamline and facilitate the movement of freight transport fleets.
