The Necessity of Creating New Security Arrangements
Araghchi described Iran's goal as achieving new security arrangements that should be formed by the countries of the region themselves, without the military presence of foreigners. This approach could enhance regional cooperation and create sustainable stability in the Gulf. The Iranian Foreign Minister emphasized that regional security must be established by the countries of the region themselves, which requires dialogue and close cooperation among neighboring countries.
As tensions in the region are escalating, Araghchi appreciated the diplomatic efforts of Qatar and Oman to reduce tensions and strengthen relations among the Gulf countries. These efforts could help create the necessary foundations for constructive dialogues and improve relations between Iran and the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
