Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, unveiled a vehicle he described as a flying car at a live event held at SpaceX's facilities in Houston. This car, equipped with jet engines, represents technological advancements in the automotive and aerospace industries.
Technical Details of the Flying Car
Musk showcased the capabilities of the new Roadster at the event and announced that this car can be launched from a sloped steel ramp and perform a complete flip in the air before landing. He stated, "Flying cars are real" and added that while the success of this vehicle is not guaranteed, it "will probably work."

This two-seater vehicle was displayed without a driver to prevent any potential risks. Musk explained that this car is equipped with 10 nozzles and "super-pressurized air tanks" to enable it to launch into the air and move at high speeds on the ground. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in less than one second, with a maximum speed of 370 kilometers per hour.
Technology Development and International Collaborations
Musk attributed this development to the collaboration between "the best car company in the world" and "the best space company in the world," namely Tesla and SpaceX. He noted that this car "actually flies like a rocket." Musk also emphasized that the Roadster "is not necessarily optimized for safety," but described it as a real vehicle that can move on roads.
Musk expressed doubt about whether this vehicle will be legal in all jurisdictions, but stated that such a car will exist that someone can own. This innovation could lead to major changes in the transportation industry and how people move in the future.
Despite the technical and legal challenges that have so far hindered the progress of flying car technology, the unveiling of this vehicle demonstrates Tesla's determination to push the boundaries of technology and provide innovative solutions in the world of transportation. These innovations are expected to become a reality in the near future and have profound impacts on people's daily lives.
