The Kuwait Meteorological Department has forecasted that from Saturday afternoon until Monday morning, the country will be affected by fresh winds and dust storms, with the possibility of scattered showers and occasional thunderstorms.
Details of the Weather Condition
The Acting Director General of the Meteorological Department, Zarar Al-Ali, explained that based on weather maps and numerical models, Kuwait is under the influence of a moist low-pressure system at the surface, coinciding with a low-pressure system in the upper layers of the atmosphere. This situation will lead to the formation of low and medium clouds and active winds from the southwest, resulting in increased dust.

According to Al-Ali, horizontal visibility in some areas will drop below 1,000 meters, and sea waves will reach over six feet.

From Saturday afternoon, clouds will gradually increase, and cumulus clouds will bring scattered showers and occasional thunderstorms. The weather conditions will gradually improve from Monday morning.
