Iran has announced five non-negotiable conditions for ensuring sustainable security in the Persian Gulf. These conditions particularly emphasize the cessation of military aggressions, the lifting of sanctions, and the acceptance of national sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz. Given the recent developments in the Strait of Hormuz, these conditions have been proposed as a basis for establishing stability in the region.
Downing of American Drones and Destruction of Tankers
The public relations office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Hormozgan announced that Iran's air defense successfully shot down advanced American reconnaissance and attack drones, including the Lucas and MQ-9 models, in the skies over Bandar Khormir. As a result, the skies over the southern shores of the country have become an impregnable zone. Additionally, the naval forces of the IRGC reported the destruction and burning of three violating tankers in the eastern waters of the Strait of Hormuz, which occurred due to ignoring Iran's navigation protocols and colliding with naval mines.

Iran's Conditions for Sustainable Security
Major General Pilot Ali Abdollahi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, emphasized five non-negotiable conditions for sustainable security in his message on the occasion of the 13th of Aban. These conditions include the comprehensive cessation of aggression on the fronts of resistance, the complete lifting of sanctions, payment of war reparations, acceptance of national sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, and obtaining credible guarantees against the recurrence of aggression. These conditions have been introduced as a roadmap for Iran's sustainable security and reflect the transition of the armed forces from "defense and crisis management" to "offensive initiative and order-making".
These developments have been met with various international reactions. In contrast, Donald Trump, the President of the United States, in an effort to influence the midterm congressional elections, claimed that the oil market has seen a price decrease due to the proximity of an agreement with Iran. These claims were immediately contradicted by reports from international media indicating a significant distance between Tehran and Washington from any agreement.
Iran has clearly stated that it will not succumb to Washington's excessive demands and that the fulfillment of the aforementioned five conditions is a prerequisite for any agreement to end the conflicts. These conditions indicate a major shift in Iran's defensive approach and emphasize national sovereignty over strategic resources and waterways.
