Israeli airstrikes in Gaza on Saturday morning claimed the lives of five Palestinians, among whom were four women. The attack targeted an apartment building in Gaza City, resulting in the complete destruction of the building and the outbreak of a fire.

According to official reports, among the victims of this attack were a Christian mother and her daughter. Eyewitnesses spoke of the terror and confusion among residents during the attack. Ahmad al-Dahdouh, one of the witnesses, described the situation: "We were asleep when suddenly we heard gunfire and heavy explosions. The children woke up and started running and screaming." He added: "We ran outside and realized that our neighbor's house had been attacked, and the bodies of women, men, and children were scattered under the rubble."

Consequences and Current Situation in Gaza
This attack is the latest in a series of Israeli airstrikes against Hamas. Israel claims that Hamas, despite last year's ceasefire agreement, continues to rebuild its weapons and carry out attacks. On the other hand, Hamas has denied these accusations and accuses Israel of violating the peace agreement. The Deputy Minister of Health in Gaza has described the humanitarian situation in the region as critical, stating that since the ceasefire last year, at least 1,400 Palestinians have lost their lives due to Israeli military attacks.
The ceasefire agreement reached last year, mediated by the United States, refers to the reconstruction of Gaza, but little progress has been made in this regard so far. Meanwhile, Israel, by increasing its attacks on Hamas, seems to be continuing its efforts to maintain its security and prevent any threats from Gaza.
