Mohammad Reza Aref, the First Vice President, at the Administrative Council meeting in Yazd Province emphasized the capabilities of the Iranian nation in various fields and said: "The enemies have bowed before the power and extraordinary capacity of the Iranian people, and recent experiences have shown that reliance on human capital and the knowledge of youth is the most important support for the country to overcome challenges and defend national interests."

Development and Management of Domestic Capacities

Aref stated: "Which country do we know where its people come to the streets for more than eight months at night and pay the price to defend their country?" He referred to the people's presence in various arenas and added: "Even when enemy planes and drones drop bombs and projectiles on the people, our people remain present despite the threats, and this is a great capacity for the country."

The First Vice President referred to the Strait of Hormuz and said: "Today, this strait has become a worrying issue for the enemy, and we manage it by relying on our own capacities. The country's strategies in this regard are also clear and will become clearer in the future."

Necessity of Economic Structure Reform

Aref, referring to the economic and livelihood problems of the people, emphasized the necessity of reforming the economic structure to control inflation and said: "The issue of inflation does not have a single factor that can be solved with one action; rather, it is influenced by a combination of factors that need to be planned for reform."

He added: "Part of the inflationary pressures is due to economic decisions. Increasing workers' wages creates pressures for price increases, but this increase does not necessarily lead to an increase in people's purchasing power." Aref referred to the mechanism for annual wage increases and said: "The law emphasizes that wage increases should be proportional to inflation, but in practice, the implementation of this issue has always faced challenges."

He stressed: "Action must be taken to reform it; an increase in wages alone does not mean an increase in purchasing power, and stabilizing prices and creating sustainable economic stability is very important." Aref also referred to the government's actions to combat economic violations and said: "What we are currently pursuing is preventing overpricing, hoarding, and underpricing."

The First Vice President concluded by emphasizing that the responsibility of managers is not limited to provincial issues and expressed hope that with the cooperation and participation of the people, the government can help improve the livelihood and economic situation of the country.
