In a press conference held on Tuesday at the Nama Power headquarters, speakers emphasized that the Oman Electricity and Energy Conference 2026 will showcase the latest global technologies in energy production and distribution. Furthermore, this event will address global challenges in electricity production and optimizing the use of natural resources for energy generation.

Al-Bartmani, one of the speakers at the meeting, added that the Oman Electricity and Energy Conference has experienced significant development and has examined topics such as energy transmission pathways and grid resilience. The fifth edition of this conference is recognized as the largest gathering to date, attracting 5,000 professionals from government entities, regulatory bodies, technology companies, consultancies, research centers, and the energy industry. On the other hand, Engineer Abdullah bin Sulaiman Al-Wohaibi, head of the Power and Energy section of IEEE in Oman, stated that this conference plays a crucial role in advancing Oman's energy ecosystem. This event will contribute to the growth and development of the sector by enhancing knowledge exchange and supporting the development of the national energy sector.
