Mojtaba Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, emphasized in his statements that the hostility of the United States towards the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue regardless of party changes in Washington or any concessions made to this country. He made this point following the Republican Party's defeats in the midterm elections in the United States, stating that those who believe this hostility will soon come to an end are "very mistaken".
Emphasis on a Strong Response to Any Aggression
Khamenei further warned that Iran's response to any renewed aggression from the United States will be significantly stronger. He referred to Iran's previous actions in destroying American bases in the region and managing the Strait of Hormuz, considering them part of a campaign against U.S. hegemony. Khamenei added: "The United States sees the end of its hegemony as distant; however, we see it as near."

Iran's View on U.S. Policies
Khamenei's statements reflect the firm position of the Islamic Republic against U.S. policies. He explicitly stated that Iran believes the United States cannot simply abandon its hostile policies. In this context, Khamenei emphasized Iran's role in defending its interests in the region and countering U.S. influence. According to him, these actions are merely part of Iran's overall strategy to maintain sovereignty and national security.
The leadership of Iran also pointed out that these hostilities not only affect bilateral relations but can also impact the overall stability of the region. He stated that this situation requires vigilance and an appropriate strategy from the Islamic Republic to defend its interests in the best possible way.
