Today's open session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly is dedicated to reviewing the questions of representatives and continuing the consideration of reports from various committees. In this session, the question of Mostafa Pour Dehghan Ardakani, the representative of Ardakan, to Seyed Ali Madani Zadeh, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, is on the agenda.

Questions from Representatives and Review of Economic Issues

These questions have been raised following the representatives' concerns about the economic situation of the country and the government's financial policies. Members of the parliament have requested the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance to respond to their questions in order to clarify and address public concerns. This action is part of the oversight and control over the government's performance in the fields of economy and taxation.

In addition to this question, representatives will also address other economic issues of the country. These issues include the evaluation and analysis of the government's economic programs, the state of inflation, unemployment, and business conditions in the country, which are the main concerns of representatives and the public.

Review of the Bill for Cooperation with the Sultanate of Oman

In today's session, in addition to the question from the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, a report from the Commission of Urban Development regarding the bill for the agreement on cooperation in maritime transport between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman will also be discussed. This bill has been prepared to facilitate and expand economic and trade cooperation between the two countries and can help strengthen bilateral relations.

Cooperation in maritime transport is of special importance, as given the geographical position of Iran and Oman, this agreement could lead to an increase in trade volume and the exchange of goods between the two countries. This issue can also contribute to job creation and the development of economic infrastructure in the region.

The Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran believes that expanding economic cooperation with neighbors, especially in the field of transport, can help improve the economic situation of the country and increase exports. Such agreements are presented as part of the country's macro strategy aimed at economic development and increasing competitive power in the region.

Given these issues, it is expected that today's session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly will lead to key decisions in the field of the economy and financial policies of the country, and representatives will be able to contribute to improving the economic conditions of the country by presenting their opinions and questions.
