The Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) celebrated its annual day on Tuesday, November 3, with a ceremony at the Said bin Sultan Naval Base. The event was held under the patronage of HH Sayyid Taimur bin Asaad Al Said, Chairman of the Central Bank of Oman (CBO).
Ceremony and Graduation
The ceremony included the graduation of student officers, university graduates, and a new group of enlisted soldiers. Military displays showcasing the high standards of training and qualifications of RNO personnel were also part of the event. This occasion paid special attention to the royal care and philanthropic attention that has been given to the Royal Navy of Oman by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the Supreme Commander, over the years. These considerations contribute to the advancement of the navy in modernizing, developing, and equipping it in terms of armaments, hardware, and human capabilities to strengthen its military capabilities in fulfilling its national responsibilities.
