Majid Al-Ansari, advisor to the Prime Minister of Qatar and official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the Washington D.C. conference on Wednesday. This conference, organized by the Concordia organization in collaboration with the Qatari Embassy in the United States, focused on the strategic partnership between Qatar and the United States and key regional and international developments that are significant for both countries.
Emphasis on Joint Cooperation
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that Al-Ansari emphasized the importance of strengthening Qatar-U.S. relations and expanding cooperation in common areas during his speech. He said: "The continued strengthening of Qatar-U.S. relations and the development of areas of cooperation between the two countries, in a way that serves their common interests and supports regional and international security and stability, is very essential."

This conference provided a valuable opportunity to discuss Qatar-U.S. relations and the long-standing partnership between the two countries. Al-Ansari mentioned, "This conference was a precious opportunity to review the relations between Qatar and the United States and the sustainable partnership between our two countries, as well as an opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues."
Dialogue and International Cooperation
At the conference, Al-Ansari was joined by Sarah B. Rogers, Deputy Secretary of State of the United States, and Matthew Swift, founder and president of the Concordia organization. Concordia, as a nonpartisan organization based in the United States, brings together leaders from government, business, and civil society and presents the Washington conference as a "hub for high-level dialogues" on geopolitical, economic, and security challenges.
This conference also provided an opportunity to exchange views on current issues and emphasized the importance of dialogue, cooperation, and international partnerships in facing common challenges.
The Washington D.C. conference was held on the eve of a high-level week at the United Nations General Assembly, and the "Third Annual Concordia Summit," which will take place from September 20 to 23 in New York, is approaching, with a Qatari delegation also participating in this summit.
