The dismissal of Dragan Talajić, the Croatian head coach of the Bahrain national team, has been officially announced, strengthening the possibility of Carlos Queiroz's return to Asian football. The Bahrain Football Association has ended its collaboration with Talajić as part of new changes, a decision made following the national team's unsuccessful performance in recent competitions.
Reasons for Talajić's Departure
The Bahrain national team, under Dragan Talajić's guidance, failed to meet expectations in several recent matches, leading to dissatisfaction among fans and officials of the country's football federation. Poor performance in the World Cup qualifying matches and the inability to achieve desirable results have been cited as the main reasons for this separation. Talajić, who had been in charge of the Bahrain national team since 2020, could not bring significant successes to the team.

Possibility of Queiroz's Return
With Talajić's dismissal, Carlos Queiroz's name has emerged as one of the main candidates to lead the Bahrain national team. Queiroz, who has an impressive coaching record in Asian football, was previously recognized as the head coach of the Iran national team and achieved commendable results in that position. His return to Asian football could not only help strengthen the Bahrain national team but also improve the level of football in the country in international competitions.
The Bahrain Football Association is currently exploring various options to succeed Talajić, with Queiroz being a focus as an experienced and successful coach. This change in the coaching staff is likely to have positive impacts on the future performance of the Bahrain national team and increase hopes for success in upcoming competitions.
Therefore, the dismissal of Dragan Talajić and the potential return of Queiroz as head coach could represent a significant transformation in Bahraini football. Fans of the team hope that by selecting an experienced coach, the Bahrain national team can perform better in international competitions and achieve greater successes.
