The conference sessions addressed topics of multilateral cooperation, ways to activate international controls in disarmament and non-proliferation, existing threats to collective security in light of emerging new technological paradigms, and prospects for building international parliamentary cooperation to strengthen security structures and concepts in the Eurasian region and beyond.

On the sidelines of the conference, Sheikh Abdulaziz Abdullah Al-Hunaei met with Maxim Ryzhenkov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. In this meeting, the friendly relations and cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Belarus were discussed, along with the rapid political and security developments in Eurasia and the Middle East. The parties emphasized the importance of diplomacy and dialogue and stressed the need to avoid any escalation of tensions.
