In his latest speech at the BRICS summit in New Delhi, Xi Jinping, the President of China, stressed the need for this group to play a peace-promoting role in the Middle Eastern conflicts. He noted that the current wars and conflicts do not serve any of the common interests of the global community.

Joint BRICS Cooperation for Peace

During the summit, Xi Jinping invited BRICS member countries, including India, Brazil, Russia, South Africa, and others, to collaborate in this regard. He stated, "We must work together as a united bloc to create stability and peace in the Middle East. This action will benefit not only the region but the entire global community as well."

The President of China also highlighted the importance of diplomacy and dialogue as key tools in resolving disputes, reminding that BRICS countries can act as a positive force in global peace efforts.

In this context, Jinping referred to closer cooperation with India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying, "We must strengthen our relations and work together towards establishing peace and security in the region."

Future Outlook

Given the recent developments in the Middle East and escalating tensions, Xi Jinping's call for BRICS to play a peace-promoting role could be a turning point in international diplomacy. This comes as many countries and international organizations seek solutions to end the ongoing crises in the region.

Can BRICS act as an effective force in establishing peace in the Middle East? Or is this merely a cultural idea? Time will tell where these efforts will lead.
