Aramco (Saudi Aramco) announced in Riyadh that the company's adjusted net income in the third quarter of 2026 increased by 9% compared to the previous year, reaching 117 billion Saudi Riyals (equivalent to $31.2 billion). This increase is notable compared to the income of 107.2 billion Saudi Riyals ($28.6 billion) in the same period last year.

Increase in Cash Flow and Free Profit

The company noted in a statement that operating cash flow increased to 145.2 billion Saudi Riyals ($38.7 billion), while this figure was 135.4 billion Saudi Riyals ($36.1 billion) in the third quarter of 2025. Additionally, free profit rose to 105.8 billion Saudi Riyals ($28.2 billion), showing significant growth compared to 88.4 billion Saudi Riyals ($23.6 billion) last year.

The debt-to-equity ratio also decreased to 5.5% as of September 30, 2026, improving from 6.2% at the end of June. The Aramco board also approved a base dividend of 82.1 billion Saudi Riyals ($21.9 billion) for the third quarter of this year, which is a 3.5% increase compared to last year and is set to be paid in the fourth quarter.

Project Development and Global Challenges

Aramco also reported a 234% increase in adjusted income before interest, taxes, and zakat in the refining, chemicals, and marketing sectors, attributing this growth to improved refining margins. The company also announced the commencement of production from the Zuluf crude oil project and emphasized that major upstream projects, including the second phase of Jafurah, the expansion of the gas processing plant, and the development of the Dammam field, are progressing as scheduled.

Aramco stated that the East-West pipeline continues to provide export flexibility, and the company is exploring external storage capacities and alternative export routes to strengthen its global supply network.

Amin Nasser, President and CEO of Aramco, stated that geopolitical uncertainties and attacks on key energy facilities in the third quarter have exacerbated the global energy supply crisis and have serious implications for global energy security.

He added that the commitment of the workforce, operational excellence, business resilience, and the supply chain built over decades have enabled Aramco to maintain reliable deliveries to customers during this exceptional period.

Nasser also stated that Aramco is looking to continue priority projects, utilize advanced technologies, and explore alternative storage and export options to meet the growing global energy demand and deliver value to its shareholders and customers.
