However, in the 43rd minute, Moreira scored the third goal, changing the score to 3-1 and leading AC Milan to a more decisive advantage.

Inter Milan's coach, Cristian Chivu, said after the match: "Losing in a derby is always painful, especially when we expected a better result. AC Milan performed very well, and we need to quickly get back to the right mental state as we have another important match in three days."
