The representation office of Iran's Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Saudi Arabia continues its activities to follow up on Hajj and Umrah operations. This action has been taken following the approach of the new Umrah season, after about three months of suspension.

Return to Mecca and Resumption of Activities

Akbar Rezaei, Deputy for Hajj and Umrah of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, announced that with the establishment of the representation team in Mecca, necessary follow-ups for performing Umrah are underway. This team includes Nasser Hoveyzavi, the head of the representation office, and four team members who are currently stationed in Mecca.

The representation office of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization was closed in early July, coinciding with the return of the last Iranian pilgrims to the country. During this time, the status of an Iranian pilgrim hospitalized in Mecca was also followed up by consular staff. Now, with the approach of the new Umrah season, this office has resumed its activities.

Flight Schedule and Umrah Coordination

The Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization has announced that the first flights to Medina and Taif will begin on October 7. These flights will be conducted regularly every five days with a capacity of 225 passengers. These actions demonstrate careful planning and necessary coordination to facilitate the travel of Iranian pilgrims to the holy land.

Considering past experiences and current conditions, the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization seeks to provide the best conditions for Iranian pilgrims and strives to offer quality services with regard to their needs. For this purpose, the representation office in Mecca serves as a coordination center for performing Umrah and following up on the status of Iranian pilgrims.

This office intends to manage all stages of Umrah effectively by establishing necessary communications with Saudi officials and preventing potential problems. Additionally, given the importance of religious travels for pilgrims, this representation is working to address all the needs of the pilgrims.

Overall, the reactivation of the representation office of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization in Saudi Arabia is an important step towards facilitating religious travels and Umrah for Iranian pilgrims. This action reflects the determination and will of officials to provide suitable conditions for pilgrims and ease their journey to the holy land.
