Burgan Bank, in order to strengthen its commitment to sustainability and social engagement, held a joint activity with students from the American United School (AUS) to mark Kuwait Green Week. This event, which is part of Burgan Bank's annual collaboration with AUS, aims to create a deeper connection with nature among students from a young age and encourage them to adopt positive behaviors to preserve Kuwait's environment.
Joint Activities at the School
This activity took place on the school grounds and included planting saplings, flowers, and various green plants. This hands-on opportunity allowed students and teachers to learn about the importance of plants and green spaces in preserving the environment. In addition to improving the school environment, this activity helped students recognize the positive impact of their individual actions and foster a greater sense of environmental responsibility.

In addition to the planting activity, Burgan Bank also promoted financial literacy among students and teachers and introduced key messages from the banking awareness campaign "Let's Be Aware" (Diraya), launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait in collaboration with the Kuwait Banking Association. This awareness section addressed the importance of saving from a young age, proper financial planning, and making informed and responsible financial decisions.
