EQUATE Petrochemical Company in Kuwait announced that its subsidiary, MEGlobal Americas, has successfully received a carbon certification from the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) system. This achievement makes MEGlobal Americas the first ethylene glycol producer in the United States to receive such a certification.

EQUATE explained in a statement that this certification includes monoethylene glycol (MEG) and diethylene glycol (DEG), both produced at MEGlobal Americas' facilities located in Oyster Creek, Texas. This certification is an important step towards EQUATE's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals and provides customers with reliable information about the carbon impacts of each product.
