Hamid Reza Haji Babaei, the representative of Hamadan in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, addressed the current status of negotiations between Iran and America in his recent meeting and pointed out key aspects in this regard. He clarified that negotiations with the American side have not been successful so far, and the reason for this is the lack of honesty from the Americans in the discussions.

Failure of Negotiations So Far

Haji Babaei stated that negotiations between Iran and America have never reached a satisfactory conclusion, emphasizing that this situation has arisen due to the insincere approach of the American side in the discussions. He added: "We will never reach an understanding with America. This means that sitting down closely and reaching a bilateral agreement where both sides are 100% satisfied will never be realized." This member of parliament further noted that establishing a summary in negotiations requires having power and authority.

Power and Authority in Negotiations

The Deputy Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly emphasized that to reach an agreement with America, it is necessary to speak from a position of power and authority. Haji Babaei stated: "As long as we do not speak to America from a position of power, this country will never pay attention to our demands." He referred to the role of armed forces and statesmen in strengthening Iran's positions and said: "The stronger our positions are, especially in the Strait of Hormuz, the more America will yield to our demands."

These remarks come as negotiations between Iran and America continue in various fields, especially regarding nuclear and security issues. Despite the efforts made, it seems that mutual distrust and fundamental differences in the approaches of the two countries have hindered reaching sustainable agreements.

Haji Babaei also pointed to the key role of Iran's military and political power in these negotiations, stating: "Our power in various fields, including military, can help us withstand external pressures and ultimately achieve a fair agreement." These remarks by the representative of Hamadan reflect concerns regarding the American approach in negotiations and international interactions.
