Consequences and Reactions
The Aden Security Administration warned that repeated attacks on the airport pose a serious threat to civilian facilities and air traffic, especially considering flights to and from several countries and passengers in the arrival and departure halls. Aden Airport is a vital air link for Yemenis, especially for patients who need to travel abroad for treatment.
The Ministry of Transport condemned this attack as a serious escalation and a violation of international laws and conventions that protect airports, civilian facilities, and commercial aviation from hostilities. The ministry called on the international community, the United Nations, and civil aviation bodies, especially the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), to condemn these attacks, protect airports and civilian facilities, and hold the perpetrators accountable.
