Iran has explicitly and firmly outlined the Islamic Republic's considerations and conditions for ending the imposed war and restoring security to the Persian Gulf region and the Strait of Hormuz. The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanani, stated that necessary responses to the proposals from the other side will be provided through intermediaries.
Iran and Oman Agreement on Safe Routes
Kanani emphasized that Iran, along with Oman as another coastal state of this waterway, has spared no effort in restoring security in the region and maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. He added: "The consultation process between Iran and Oman is progressing well, and the two sides have agreed on the geographical coordinates of safe inbound and outbound routes in the Strait of Hormuz."

Strengthening Regional Cooperation
Kanani also referred to the possibility of holding a joint meeting between Iran and Oman with other Gulf Cooperation Council countries, stating: "Iran will continue its efforts to strengthen trust and interaction among the countries in the region." He emphasized that the defenders of the homeland are determined and steadfast in both diplomatic and field arenas to defend Iran's integrity and ensure the national interests and security of the country.
As tensions in the region have sharply increased, Iran emphasizes the importance of dialogue and joint cooperation, and it seems that these efforts could lead to a reduction in tensions and restore security to the Strait of Hormuz and other critical areas in the region.
