Hundreds of Syrian citizens recently gathered in protest against Israel's repeated aggressions against Syrian territory, particularly in the south of the country. These protests occurred after one of these attacks resulted in the death of a disabled man. Local media and reporters on the scene reported gatherings in several locations, including Damascus and the city of Homs.

The protesters, holding Syrian flags and anti-Israeli slogans, expressed their concerns about the repeated violations of Syrian national sovereignty by Israel. One of the protesters, named Tayser Al-Hariri, stated that the purpose of this gathering is to send a message to the international community that Syria is united and cohesive in the face of Israeli aggressions and any threats to its national security.

Impact of Israeli Aggressions on Syrian Society
Images released from the protests show that the demonstrators carried posters reading "We are all Muath," referring to a man whom Syria stated was killed in the recent Israeli attack in Daraa province. Syria has accused Israel of violating the 1974 demilitarization agreement and has stated that the country has repeatedly aggressed against Syrian territory, raiding homes and detaining several residents of these areas.
Additionally, in Damascus, a family of a Syrian man who was detained by Israel gathered in front of the United Nations building, demanding his release. Meanwhile, local media reported that Israeli forces advanced in part of Quneitra province and blocked several roads.
Israel has consistently emphasized maintaining its forces in a "security zone" in southern Syria and seeks to establish a wide demilitarized area in this region. Negotiations between Syria and Israel for a security agreement are ongoing, but Israel remains distrustful of Syrian Islamic officials.
