The live show 'Mojo', organized by Hadeer Al-Mutairi, the organizer of 'Mojo Late Night Pop-Up Live Show', took place on October 8 at the Vigonovo restaurant. This event, created in collaboration with Fuse Productions, included live comedy, traditional Italian cooking, and audience participation.
Performance and Audience Participation
Mohammed Sami captivated the audience with his enchanting voice, while Abdullah Dashti and Sultan Al-Kadhimi established a good connection with the audience as actors and performers. Sous Faraj, as director and stage manager, succeeded in delivering a quality show.

Interestingly, the audience shaped the performance by providing ideas, questions, and even answers that the performers ultimately responded to during the show. Hadeer Al-Mutairi described this event as "an experience that is not just a show" that "amazed the audience." She emphasized the importance of "maintaining the human aspect" in the performing arts and focused on human values in presenting the arts instead of "unnecessary movements."
An Experience Beyond a Show
Al-Mutairi pointed out that a barrier between the audience and performers would be broken to create a sense of "security" so that the audience could participate more comfortably. These comedies have been described in the style of "Saturday Night Live." Additionally, the value of authentic foods, like those served at the Vigonovo restaurant, will contribute to the immersive experience of this event, making guests feel as if they are dining in an Italian home. This multicultural exploration has always been part of Mojo's identity.
Mojo, a non-profit social organization, started as a mobile campaign and has held various events in different countries. This organization is now focused on hosting events that integrate food, theater, and culture, continuously evolving and not repeating the same events.
This nighttime pop-up show represents a new experience for Mojo. The name Mojo, beyond being an attractive name, symbolizes the energy, intimacy, and connection that makes live performance special. This positive and vibrant word reinforces the identity of the show and the organization. Al-Mutairi stated, "Those who are interested in such events are pioneers of innovation" and described them as individuals passionate about novelty and fresh perspectives.
Al-Mutairi explained the goal of this show: "The aim of this show is to create real interaction with the audience and revive the spirit of empathy and chivalry that has diminished in the endless era of screens - phones, iPads, and computers. This event creates a space for intimate and genuine interaction through live performance, allowing us to rediscover the unique connection between performer and audience." The audience also affirmed this feeling.
Sultan Al-Salal, one of the audience members, said, "I really enjoyed this night. All the guests were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and there was a beautiful sense that everyone was part of a big family." He added, "The closeness between the guests and the performers made everything very personal and real."
To summarize the overall feeling of the night, Al-Salal said, "The conversations were simple, genuine, and inspiring. Let everyone be themselves and have their voice."
