Nader Nibras, a Bangladeshi filmmaker and travel content creator, depicted a cultural and social experience during his recent trip to Kuwait that went beyond the intense summer heat. This journey specifically examined life in a city affected by very high temperatures.
An Experience Beyond the Heat
Nader said, "My main goal for traveling to Kuwait was to film the summer heat and explore life in such conditions. However, despite the intense heat, I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I have traveled to several other cities in the Gulf, but Kuwait seems to me to have the most soul and character."

He noted the social and cultural atmosphere of Kuwait, stating that the visible local population contributes to a unique vibe. One of his interesting observations was the diversity and quality of Kuwaiti food, with a special mention of the country's coffee culture. Nader said, "Drinking coffee in Kuwait is unexpectedly important. I found myself in cafes with people late into the night, simply drinking coffee and chatting with them."
Travel Challenges and Understanding Happiness
Nader also mentioned the challenges of life during long-term travels. He said, "Constant traveling means repeatedly reconstructing small routines that most people take for granted. Packing and unpacking my life into two suitcases can become tedious over time." Nader believes that long-term travelers need a deeper motivation than just seeing new destinations.
He also referred to the impact of travel on his understanding of happiness, stating, "Travel has reminded me how people in small communities are simply happy, and this happiness is less dependent on material possessions. Life in these communities has a simplicity that can get lost in the hustle and bustle of large cities."
Nader Nibras has gained a better understanding of life and his desires through his travels to various countries and has concluded that maturity also plays a significant role in this journey.
