Natural Beauties of Oman in Film
The film 'Beta Carotene' beautifully depicts the natural wonders of Oman and the unique geological lakes of this country with stunning natural colors. The title of the film comes from 'Beta Carotene', a substance associated with microorganisms such as seaweed, which gives Oman's lakes a special color and environmental significance. This film somewhat introduces the natural and cultural aspects of Oman and presents the country to viewers from an artistic and cinematic perspective.
Competition at the Festival
The Omani film will participate in the competitive section of the festival, which includes 30 short films (each with a duration of 15 to 30 minutes). These works were selected from 420 entries reviewed by the festival jury in May 2026. Thus, 'Beta Carotene' represents Oman's efforts in the field of cinema and performing arts.
Importance of Cultural Exchange
Oman's presence at this important event not only helps promote the culture and cinema of this country but also emphasizes the importance of cultural and artistic exchange between nations and aids in building bridges of communication among peoples. Such events can pave the way for further cooperation in the fields of culture and art and assist in mutual understanding among nations.
