The Omani Center for Organ Donation and Human Tissue, in collaboration with experts from the Spanish Donation and Transplant Institute, examined ways to develop organ donation services in the Sultanate of Oman. These discussions focused particularly on brain death and improving the efficiency and quality of healthcare services.
Goals and Objectives of the Discussion
This meeting aimed to exchange international experiences, review operational methods and procedures, and develop and introduce key performance indicators to measure the quality and efficiency of services. In this context, challenges and developmental opportunities were also discussed with healthcare professionals and staff.
