In northern Gaza, a young Palestinian was killed in an Israeli airstrike west of the Jabalia refugee camp, and several others were injured. Furthermore, another young man was severely injured due to gunfire from the Israeli army in the east of the Maghazi camp in central Gaza.
Israeli Settler Aggressions
Additionally, Israeli settlers opened fire on Palestinian homes in the village of al-Mughayer, located northeast of Ramallah, on Saturday morning. In this incident, despite the shooting towards the homes, no reports of damage or clashes have been published.
Marzouq Abunaim, a member of the al-Mughayer village council, stated that a group of settlers stormed the Shaab al-Lawz area in this village and opened fire towards Palestinian homes. Also, the occupying forces raided the home of Haj Abu Ata for the second time within a few hours, detaining and interrogating his family members.
Moreover, Israeli settlers cut off the water line of the village of Adqaiq in the Masafer Yatta area south of Hebron, which deprived approximately 700 Palestinians of drinking water.
Anti-construction activist Osama Makhamra stated that the settlers, under the protection of Israeli forces, cut the water line at the entrance of the village, which is part of the ongoing attacks on villages and Bedouin communities in the Masafer Yatta area.
Military Situation in Tulkarem
Israeli forces also set up a military checkpoint under the Jabara bridge at the southern entrance of Tulkarem on Saturday. Local sources reported that Israeli soldiers stopped and inspected vehicles leaving the city, leading to traffic disruptions.
These actions come as Israeli military restrictions at the entrances of Tulkarem and surrounding cities have significantly increased, and this city has been under Israeli attacks for 601 consecutive days.
