Satellite data from the Russian government and military has aided Ansar Allah in Yemen, which is supported by Iran, in carrying out precise attacks on dozens of targets in Saudi Arabia in recent months. This is particularly noteworthy as clashes between the two sides have intensified.
Review of Ansar Allah's Attacks
The Geneva-based geographic intelligence company, known as AURORAH, has analyzed 40 missile and drone attacks carried out by Ansar Allah and Iranian-backed militants in Iraq against Saudi Arabia from July 1 to October 19. This analysis shows a similar pattern of Russian satellite activity and reconnaissance operations over target areas before and after these attacks, indicating the transfer of information to Ansar Allah and Iraqi militants.

Complete Match of Satellite Activities
Nawaf Obaid, the founder of AURORAH, stated: "What we found is a 100 percent match between Russian satellite activities and all 40 attacks." He also noted that the company has identified 72 Russian reconnaissance satellites among over 11,000 satellites orbiting Earth and has tracked their paths and movements.
These findings could significantly enhance the understanding of Russia's role in Middle Eastern conflicts and indicate the geopolitical implications of such military collaborations. While Saudi Arabia seeks to bolster its defenses against these attacks, this new evidence could assist analysts and decision-makers in their strategic planning.
Given recent trends, it appears that military cooperation between Russia and militia groups in the Middle East, particularly in the exchange of information and advanced technologies, is on the rise. This issue could exacerbate tensions in the region and alter the balance of power.
