The Council of Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council officially designated Yemen's Ansar Allah as a terrorist group and called on the international community to list this group as a terrorist organization. This statement was released following the adoption of a presidential statement by the United Nations Security Council on October 15, which condemned the ongoing attacks by Ansar Allah against Saudi Arabia.
Condemnation of Ansar Allah's Attacks
The Gulf Cooperation Council strongly criticized the military activities of Ansar Allah in the region and called for an end to all foreign support for this group, which enables them to acquire missiles and drones. The council emphasized that the continuation of these attacks poses a serious threat to the security and stability of the region and must be taken seriously.

Solidarity with Saudi Arabia
In the continuation of the statement, the members of the Gulf Cooperation Council emphasized their full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and declared that they stand alongside Riyadh. The council urged the international community to pay special attention to the implementation of the United Nations Security Council resolutions regarding Yemen and the Ansar Allah rebellion and to ensure that the ban on sending weapons to this group is strictly enforced.
The Gulf Cooperation Council also pointed out that the security of the member countries of this council is an interconnected and indivisible entity. Therefore, any attack on one of the member countries will be considered a direct attack on all member countries of this council and will result in an immediate response based on the mutual defense agreement.
This statement was issued amid rising tensions in the Gulf region due to the military activities of Ansar Allah, with Saudi Arabia being one of the main actors in this crisis, striving to maintain its security and stability. It appears that this stance by the Gulf Cooperation Council could lead to increased international pressure on Ansar Allah and its supporters and help reduce tensions in this volatile region.
