The Municipal Council of North Al Sharqiyah Governorate in Oman held an important meeting on Tuesday to discuss various topics related to internal development and public services. One of the key topics of this session was the development of the Al Sharqiyah Sands tourism area, which is recognized as one of the main tourist attractions in the governorate.
Review of Investment Projects and Food Security
This meeting was chaired by Mahmoud bin Yahya Al Dhahli, the Governor of North Al Sharqiyah and Chairman of the Municipal Council. In this session, the city council reviewed an investment plan for establishing food security and livestock projects in the Wilayat of Sinaw. These projects are designed to enhance food security and increase self-sufficiency in livestock production, which can help improve the livelihoods of local residents.
Challenges and Solutions in Communication Infrastructure
The Municipal Council also addressed the challenges related to the connecting road between the Wilayats of Ibra and Al Mudhaybi and proposed the installation of signposts to facilitate public access to government institutions and service facilities. Additionally, the city council emphasized the importance of maintaining ongoing coordination and integration among government departments. The main goal of this coordination is to improve decision-making related to public service standards and sustainable economic and tourism development in the North Al Sharqiyah Governorate. This approach can significantly attract investors and strengthen tourism infrastructure.
At the end of the meeting, the members of the Municipal Council stressed the importance of sustainable development in the governorate and increasing urban facilities. This initiative can help improve the quality of life for residents and protect the environment. The council also emphasized the need for investment in sustainable projects and attention to community needs.
